VIDEO: Now a museum of the Storming on Königsberg the German bunker was from March 1945 until the city’s capitulation in May 1945 the German military head quarters. The bunker is seven metres deep and 40 metres long. Once one of Europe’s beautiful cities founded in 1255 only 20% of the city remained after British air strikes and later Soviet artillery attacks.
